Christmas held a special place for Mark as a kid. At ten years old he'd be on the roof putting up the Christmas lights. While in college he landed a summer job with the U.S. Forest Service in Highlands, North Carolina. The town had two year round Christmas stores, allowing Mark to indulge in his love of the holidays even more.
Mark has called Woodstock, New York his home since 1991. While he originally moved here to continue his career in forestry he was exposed to retail and marketing through his work at a large landscape nursery that, in a serendipitous stroke, turned into a Christmas shop during the holidays. He opened Woodstock Emporium and Holiday Haus in 1996 and now he serves as the best source for year round Christmas, Woodstock ornaments, collectible t-shirts, unique gift items, and of course lots of fine chocolates and fudge!
